Yellow Moon Over Portland
I
recently participated in a nationwide challenge, called
the RPM Challenge.
In a nutshell, the objective was to write/record a full
album of original material during the month of February.
Yellow Moon Over Portland
is the result.
 Using
a Macbook, some softrware, guitars, a cello, piano, banjo,
bass guitar, and various other noisemakers I set out to
record 10 songs for the album. Silencing the perfectionist
tendancy in the studio, I had to keep moving even when I
wasn't quite sure of where I was going. What resulted was
a surprisingly cohesive collection of songs. All except
for two of the songs are instrumentals. The vocal tracks
were co-written with Eric Swan and performed by Geep Amara.
The songs can be heard and downloaded on the discography
page. I'm accepting donations for downloads as well as orders
for the album at this time. As for how much, it's whatever
